The verse retelling closes on its widest register — buddhas seen across all three times, clouds of adornment offered in every land, one body multiplying into measureless bodies and folding back into one, light from every pore, and a boundless ocean of merit awaiting whoever attains this very liberation-gate.
One Body, Measureless Bodies
The verse's final eleven stanzas leave the story behind entirely, turning instead to the liberation-gate's own widest reach — every buddha seen, every land entered, and a single body folding into many and back into one.
三世所有諸佛海，
一一明見盡無餘；
亦能示現其身相，
普詣於彼如來所。
又於十方一切剎，
一切諸佛導師前，
普雨一切莊嚴雲，
供養一切無上覺。
又以無邊大問海，
啟請一切諸世尊；
彼佛所雨妙法雲，
皆悉受持無忘失。
又於十方無量剎，
一切如來眾會前，
坐於眾妙莊嚴座，
示現種種神通力。
又於十方無量剎，
示現種種諸神變，
一身示現無量身，
無量身中現一身。
又於一一毛孔中，
悉放無數大光明，
各以種種巧方便，
除滅眾生煩惱火。
又於一一毛孔中，
出現無量化身雲，
充滿十方諸世界，
普雨法雨濟群品。
十方一切諸佛子，
入此難思解脫門，
悉盡未來無量劫，
安住修行菩薩行。
隨其心樂為說法，
令彼皆除邪見網，
示以天道及二乘，
乃至如來一切智。
一切眾生受生處，
示現無邊種種身，
悉同其類現眾像，
普應其心而說法。
若有得此解脫門，
則住無邊功德海，
譬如剎海微塵數，
不可思議無有量。
Every ocean of buddhas throughout the three times,
I see clearly, one by one, leaving not a single one out;
and I am also able to manifest my own bodily form,
going universally to the place of each of those tathāgatas.
Moreover, throughout every land in the ten directions,
before every buddha, every guiding teacher,
I universally rain down clouds of every adornment,
making offerings to every unsurpassed awakened one.
Moreover, with a boundless great ocean of questions,
I entreat and petition every World-Honored One;
the clouds of wondrous dharma those buddhas rain down,
I entirely receive and uphold, without ever forgetting them.
Moreover, throughout measureless lands in the ten directions,
before the assemblies of every tathāgata,
I sit upon seats adorned with every wondrous ornament,
manifesting every kind of spiritual power.
Moreover, throughout measureless lands in the ten directions,
I manifest every kind of spiritual transformation,
one body manifesting as measureless bodies,
and within measureless bodies, manifesting as one body.
Moreover, from every single pore of my body,
I emit countless great lights,
each one with every kind of skilful means,
extinguishing the fire of every being's affliction.
Moreover, from every single pore of my body,
clouds of measureless transformation-bodies emerge,
filling every world throughout the ten directions,
universally raining down dharma-rain to relieve every kind of being.
Every child of the Buddha throughout the ten directions
who enters this inconceivable liberation-gate,
throughout every measureless kalpa yet to come,
abides firmly, cultivating the bodhisattva's practice.
According to their mind's own delight, I expound the dharma for them,
causing them all to remove the net of wrong views;
I show them the path of the heavens and the two vehicles,
and even the tathāgata's own all-knowing wisdom.
In every place where beings are born,
I manifest boundless bodies of every kind,
appearing in every form identical to their own kind,
and universally respond to their minds in expounding the dharma.
Whoever attains this liberation-gate
thereupon abides in a boundless ocean of merit,
like unto the fine motes of dust in an ocean of lands,
inconceivable, and without measure.
一身示現無量身，無量身中現一身 — one body manifesting as measureless bodies, and within measureless bodies, manifesting as one body. The verse's exact centre — stanza six of eleven in this Part, twenty-eighth of the full thirty-three — turns from everything the night-spirit has done toward how she does it: not one body succeeded by another, but the two directions held at once, multiplying outward and folding back in the same line.
