Two More Surrounding World-Seeds
Samantabhadra continues turning clockwise around the central world-seed, describing the third and fourth of the ten that surround it. Each again has its own name, its own lotus, its own essence, and its own twenty tiers of worlds and buddhas, following the same terser pattern established in the previous world-seed to the south — full detail at the lowest and highest tiers, name and buddha alone for those between.
The Third World-Seed

"Buddha's children! Continuing clockwise from this Wheel of Inexhaustible Light fragrant water ocean, there is next a fragrant water ocean named the Vajra's Jeweled Flame-Light; its world-seed is named the Treasury of the Buddha's Light Adornment, taking the voice that proclaims the name of every Tathāgata as its essence. At its very lowest is a world named Jeweled Flame's Lotus Flower; its shape is just like the maṇi-colored mark, the curl of hair between the brows, abiding resting upon an ocean whirling with water of every jeweled color, and a cloud of pavilions adorned in every kind covers over it entirely. Worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land encircle it all around, purely one and entirely pure. Its buddha is named the Jeweled Light Free of Defilement. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Treasury of Light and Flame. Its buddha is named the Unobstructed, Sovereign Light of Wisdom. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Wondrous Adornment of a Jeweled Wheel. Its buddha is named the Light of Every Jewel. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Banner of Sandalwood Tree's Flower. Its buddha is named the Light of Pure Wisdom. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Wondrous Adornment of a Buddha-Land. Its buddha is named the Vast Voice of Joy. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Adornment of Wondrous Light. Its buddha is named the Sovereign Wisdom of the Dharma-Realm. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Boundless Marks. Its buddha is named Unobstructed Wisdom. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Banner of the Cloud of Flame. Its buddha is named Proclaiming the Non-Regressing Wheel. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Pure Wheel Adorned by Every Jewel. Its buddha is named the Light of a Flower Free of Defilement. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Vast Going-Forth. Its buddha is named the Sun's Eye of Unobstructed Wisdom. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Wondrous Adornment of a Vajra Throne. Its buddha is named the Great Light of the Dharma-Realm's Wisdom. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Universal Adornment of Wisdom. Its buddha is named the King of the Torch of Wisdom's Light. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Profound, Wondrous Voice of a Lotus Pond. Its buddha is named the Universal Illumination of Omniscience. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Light of Every Kind of Color. Its buddha is named the Cloud of the King of Flowers' Universal Light. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Wondrous Jeweled Banner. Its buddha is named the Light of Merit. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Light of Maṇi Flower's Curling Mark. Its buddha is named the Cloud of Universal Voice. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Profound Ocean. Its buddha is named the Lord of Living Beings of the Ten Directions. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Sumeru's Light. Its buddha is named the Universal Wisdom-Voice of the Dharma-Realm. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Golden Lotus Flower. Its buddha is named the Universal Light of the Treasury of Blessing and Virtue. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Treasury of Jeweled Adornment; its shape is like the svastika mark, abiding resting upon an ocean of trees adorned by every fragrant maṇi, and a cloud of pure light covers over it entirely. Worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in twenty buddha-lands encircle it all around, purely one and entirely pure. Its buddha is named the Great Net of Light of Spiritual Transformation."
The Fourth World-Seed

Continuing clockwise from this Vajra's Jeweled Flame-Light fragrant water ocean, there is next a fragrant water ocean named the Adornment of Indranīla Jewel; its world-seed is named Light Illumining the Ten Directions, abiding resting upon a cloud of fragrance from every kind of wondrously adorned lotus flower, taking the voice of boundless buddhas as its essence. At its very lowest is a world named the Wheel of the Ten Directions' Inexhaustible Treasury of Color; its shape circles around, with immeasurable corners, abiding resting upon an ocean, a treasury of every jewel of boundless color, and Indra's own net covers over it. Worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land encircle it all around, purely one and entirely pure. Its buddha is named the Lotus-Flower Eye's Light, Universally Illumining. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Treasury of Pure, Wondrous Adornment. Its buddha is named the Great Lion of Unsurpassed Wisdom. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Appearing Lotus Throne. Its buddha is named the King of Light Universally Illumining the Dharma-Realm. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Voice of a Jeweled Banner. Its buddha is named the Universal Renown of Great Merit. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Treasury of Vajra's Jeweled Adornment. Its buddha is named the Sun's Light of the Lotus Flower. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Indra's Flower Moon. Its buddha is named the Banner of the Dharma's Sovereign Wisdom. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Treasury of the Wondrous Wheel. Its buddha is named the Pure Voice of Great Joy. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Treasury of Wondrous Voice. Its buddha is named the Great Caravan-Leader of Great Power. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Pure Moon. Its buddha is named Sumeru Light's Power of Wisdom. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Mark of Boundless Adornment. Its buddha is named the Pure Moonlight of Skillful Means and Vow. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Voice of Wondrous Flowers. Its buddha is named the Great Vow-Voice of the Ocean of Dharma. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Every Jewel's Adornment. Its buddha is named the Mark of Merit's Jeweled Light. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Firm Ground. Its buddha is named the Supreme Deva of Beautiful Voice. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Excellent Transformation of Universal Light. Its buddha is named the Tranquil Wisdom of Great Diligence. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Conduct of Excellent Guarding and Adornment. Its buddha is named Giving Rise to Joy in Whoever Beholds It. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Treasury of Sandalwood and Jeweled Flowers. Its buddha is named the Profound, Unshakable Light of Wisdom, Universally Illumining. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Ocean Manifesting Every Kind of Form and Mark. Its buddha is named the Universally Emitted Light of the Inconceivable King of Supreme Meaning. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Conjuring the Ten Directions' Great Light. Its buddha is named the Majestic Light of Supreme Merit, Without Equal. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Banner of Sumeru's Cloud. Its buddha is named the Eye of Utterly Pure Light. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Lotus Universally Illumining; its shape is entirely round, abiding resting upon an ocean of every wondrous fragrant maṇi of boundless color, and a cloud adorned by every vehicle covers over it entirely. Worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in twenty buddha-lands encircle it all around, purely one and entirely pure. Its buddha is named the Sun of Liberation's Diligence."
From this point on, the sūtra stops naming the cardinal directions explicitly and instead says only that each next fragrant water ocean is found by "continuing clockwise" (右旋) from the last. Chengguan's commentary reads this shift as significant rather than a mere abbreviation: the first two world-seeds (east, south) fix a frame of reference, and every one that follows is defined relationally, in motion around the center, rather than by an independent compass bearing. The world-seeds themselves keep growing more elaborate as one moves through them — this fourth one already runs through kings, lions, caravan-leaders, and devas among its buddha names, a range that will keep widening as the remaining six world-seeds unfold.
