The Fifth and Sixth Surrounding World-Seeds
Samantabhadra continues clockwise around the central world-seed, describing the fifth and sixth of the ten that surround it — each again with its own fragrant water ocean, its own lotus, its own essence, and its own twenty tiers of worlds and buddhas.

Continuing clockwise from this Adornment of Indranīla Jewel fragrant water ocean, there is next a fragrant water ocean named the Base of Vajra Wheel's Adornment; its world-seed is named Indra's Net Interspersed with Wondrous Jewels, taking the voice born from Samantabhadra's own wisdom as its essence. At its very lowest is a world named the Lotus-Flower Net; its shape is just like the form of Sumeru, abiding resting upon an ocean of a mountain-banner of every wondrous flower, and a cloud, the sovereign maṇi's own net of Indra manifesting the Buddha's domain, covers over it. Worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land encircle it all around, purely one and entirely pure. Its buddha is named the Dharma-Body's Universal Wisdom of Awakening. Its buddha is named the Boundless Wisdom of the Dharma-Realm's Voice. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Canopy of True Pearls. Its buddha is named the Lion's Stretching Forth of the Pāramitās. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Boundless Voice. Its buddha is named the Wondrous Wisdom of Awakening of Omniscience. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Universally Beholding the Tree's Peak. Its buddha is named Universally Manifesting Before Every Living Being. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Lion's Light of Indra's Net. Its buddha is named the Cloud of Golden Light and Flame of the Sun Free of Defilement. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Every Jewel Interspersed. Its buddha is named the Supreme Wisdom of Indra's Banner. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Ground of Light Free of Defilement. Its buddha is named the Pure Moon of Every Power. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Forever Sending Forth the Voice That Praises the Buddha's Merit. Its buddha is named the Universal Wisdom of Awakening, Like Empty Space. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Lofty Treasury of Flame. Its buddha is named the Great Banner of Cloud Conjuring the Ten Directions. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Awakening-Site Adorned with Light. Its buddha is named the Wisdom Without Equal, Universally Illumining. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Bringing Forth Every Jeweled Adornment. Its buddha is named the King of Spiritual Transmutation Who Vastly Ferries Living Beings Across. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Wondrous Palace Adorned with Light. Its buddha is named the Vast Wisdom by Which Every Aim Is Accomplished. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Tranquility Free of Defilement. Its buddha is named Never Appearing in Vain. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Banner of a Maṇi Flower. Its buddha is named the Delightful, Auspicious Voice. Continuing clockwise from this Base of Vajra Wheel's Adornment fragrant water ocean, there is next a fragrant water ocean named the Lotus of Indra's Net; its world-seed is named Universally Manifesting Reflections of the Ten Directions, abiding resting upon a lotus flower adorned with every fragrant maṇi, taking the voice of the light of every buddha's wisdom as its essence. At its very lowest is a world named Jeweled Light of the Ocean of Living Beings; its shape is just like a treasury of true pearls, abiding resting upon a whirl of an ocean of every maṇi necklace, and a cloud of maṇi, the water's own light, covers over it. Worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land encircle it all around, purely one and entirely pure. Its buddha is named the Moon of Inconceivable Merit, Universally Illumining. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Wondrous Light-Wheel. Its buddha is named the Wisdom of Awakening to the Dharma-Realm's Light and Voice. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Roaring Voice's Maṇi Banner. Its buddha is named the Lotus-Flower Light Forever Extending His Wondrous Arm. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Utterly Firm Wheel. Its buddha is named the Light of the Ocean of Merit, Never Regressing. Its buddha is named the Universally Supreme, Honored One of Omniscience. Its buddha is named the Lion's Light of Immeasurable Power's Wisdom of Awakening. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Pure Transformation. Its buddha is named the Golden Lotus Flower's Light. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Universally Entering the Ten Directions. Its buddha is named the Wisdom That Stretches Forth to Contemplate the Dharma-Realm. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Blazing Flame. Its buddha is named the King of Kinnaras of the Tree of Light and Flame. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Fragrant Light, Universally Illumining. Its buddha is named the King of Excellent Transformation of the Fragrant Lamp. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Immeasurable Wheel of Gathered Flowers. Its buddha is named Universally Manifesting the Buddha's Merit. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Every Wonder, Universally Pure. Its buddha is named the King of Spiritual Transmutation of the Equality of Every Dharma. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Golden Light Ocean. Its buddha is named the Great Transformation, Sovereign in the Ten Directions. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named the Treasury of True Pearl's Flower. Above this, past worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in a buddha-land, there is a world named Boundless Jewels, Universally Illumining; its shape is square, abiding resting upon an ocean of a flower-forest, and a cloud, the sovereign maṇi's own net of Indra universally raining boundless colors, covers over it entirely. Worlds as numerous as the fine motes of dust in twenty buddha-lands encircle it all around, purely one and entirely pure. Its buddha is named the Supreme Voice Universally Illumining the World."
The sixth world-seed's buddha-names widen the register further than any so far: alongside the expected wisdoms and lights stands "the King of Kinnaras of the Tree of Light and Flame" — a title borrowed directly from the retinue of non-human beings (kinnaras, gandharvas, garuḍas, and the like) already catalogued at length back in fascicle one's assembly of world-lords. The world-seeds are not populated only by buddhas whose names sound like abstract virtues; the sūtra's cosmology keeps reaching back into its own earlier cast of characters, suggesting these tiers are continuous with, not separate from, everything already described.
