Jeweled Rivers, Oceans, and Lotus Flowers
The catalogue of jeweled adornments continues without pause — rivers flowing with every pure dharma, oceans brimming with the water of the Dharma, Mount Sumeru itself rendered in jewels, necklaces adorning hundreds of thousands of bodhisattvas at once — before the list narrows into shorter, single-line entries: jeweled treasuries opening the true Dharma, jeweled banners bearing the Tathāgata's own mark, and jeweled gardens giving rise to a bodhisattva's own bliss of samādhi.
Twenty-Two More Kinds of Jeweled Adornment
The list moves through landscape (rivers, oceans, Mount Sumeru itself), through ornament (silks, banners, streamers, sashes, necklaces), and through sensation (jeweled coverings that give rise to subtle, blissful touch), closing on light that manifests every other light — a fitting image for a catalogue that has, by now, exceeded sixty distinct items.

There are further asaṃkhyeya jeweled rivers, flowing out with every pure, wholesome dharma; asaṃkhyeya jeweled oceans, brimming full with the water of the Dharma; asaṃkhyeya jeweled white lotus flowers, forever sounding the wondrous Dharma's own puṇḍarīka voice; asaṃkhyeya jeweled Mount Sumerus, the king of mountains of wisdom, rising up pure and resplendent; asaṃkhyeya wondrous eight-edged jewels, strung through with jeweled thread, adorned and pure beyond compare; asaṃkhyeya pure light jewels, forever emitting the unobstructed light of great wisdom, universally illuminating the dharma-realm; asaṃkhyeya jeweled bells and clappers, striking against one another, sounding a wondrous voice; asaṃkhyeya pure jewels, every bodhisattva's own jeweled adornment fully abundant; asaṃkhyeya jeweled silks and ribbons, hanging down everywhere, their color and form bright and clean; asaṃkhyeya wondrous jeweled banners, adorned with jeweled crescent moons; asaṃkhyeya jeweled streamers, entirely able to universally rain down immeasurable jeweled streamers; asaṃkhyeya jeweled sashes, hanging spread through the air, supremely and wondrously adorned; asaṃkhyeya jeweled coverings, able to give rise to every kind of subtle, blissful sensation; asaṃkhyeya wondrous jeweled spirals, manifesting a bodhisattva's own eye of omniscience; asaṃkhyeya jeweled necklaces, each and every necklace the supreme, wondrous adornment of hundreds of thousands of bodhisattvas; asaṃkhyeya jeweled palaces, surpassing everything, wondrous beyond compare; asaṃkhyeya jeweled adornments, adorned with vajra and maṇi jewels; asaṃkhyeya every kind of wondrous jeweled adornment, forever manifesting every pure, wondrous color; asaṃkhyeya pure jewels, of extraordinary form and unusual color, their light reflecting and shining through; asaṃkhyeya jeweled mountains, forming walls and ramparts, surrounding all around, pure and unobstructed; asaṃkhyeya jeweled incense, its fragrance universally perfuming every world; asaṃkhyeya jeweled transformative events, each and every transformative event pervading the whole dharma-realm; asaṃkhyeya jeweled lights, each and every light manifesting every other light.
"Each and every light manifesting every other light" closes this catalogue on the same interpenetrating logic that has run through the whole dedication — no single jewel among these dozens is merely one thing among many; each one already contains and reflects the rest, the way this entire sūtra insists a single mote of dust can hold an entire world.
Eight Further Adornments
The catalogue narrows into single-line entries — jeweled lights that illuminate every dharma, jeweled treasuries that open the true Dharma, jeweled banners bearing the Tathāgata's own mark, jeweled gardens that give rise to a bodhisattva's own bliss of samādhi — each one compressed to its essential function.
復有阿僧祇寶光明，清淨智光照了諸法。復有阿僧祇無礙寶光明，一一光明周遍法界。有阿僧祇寶處，一切諸寶皆悉具足。阿僧祇寶藏，開示一切正法藏寶。阿僧祇寶幢，如來幢相迥然高出。阿僧祇寶賢，大智賢像，具足清淨。阿僧祇寶園，生諸菩薩三昧快樂。阿僧祇寶音，如來妙音，普示世間。阿僧祇寶形，其一一形皆放無量妙法光明。
There are further asaṃkhyeya jeweled lights, the light of pure wisdom illuminating and comprehending every dharma. There are further asaṃkhyeya unobstructed jeweled lights, each and every light pervading the whole dharma-realm. There are asaṃkhyeya jeweled places, every kind of jewel entirely and fully present within them. Asaṃkhyeya jeweled treasuries, opening up and revealing the jeweled treasury of the true Dharma entire. Asaṃkhyeya jeweled banners, the Tathāgata's own banner-mark rising up far and high. Asaṃkhyeya jeweled sages, images of great wise sages, fully pure. Asaṃkhyeya jeweled gardens, giving rise to every bodhisattva's own bliss of samādhi. Asaṃkhyeya jeweled sounds, the Tathāgata's own wondrous voice, universally shown throughout the world. Asaṃkhyeya jeweled forms, each and every form emitting the immeasurable, wondrous light of the Dharma.
Even a garden, in this list, is not simply beautiful — it is a place "giving rise to every bodhisattva's own bliss of samādhi," its purpose stated as plainly as a tool's. Nothing in this whole catalogue of jewels exists for its own sake; each item is defined by what it does for a being who encounters it.
Part 386 Complete
This continues the tenth dedication's prose section. Chapter 25 continues in Part 387 as the vow's long catalogue of jeweled adornments moves toward its close, before the dedication turns to what every buddha-land, adorned in this way, actually accomplishes for the sentient beings who dwell within it.
