Thirteen More Dwellings, Including China
The list continues past mountains and directions into named cities and countries — Vaiśālī, Mathurā, Kashmir, Gandhāra — each still simply stated to hold a company of bodhisattvas since ancient times, without a resident leader named this time. Partway through the list, 震旦國 appears: China itself, named beside Kashmir and Gandhāra as one dwelling-place among many.
From the Sea to China
The list shifts from mountains in the eight directions to cities and countries with real names on a map, ending on a shorter, plainer formula: a place, a name, and bodhisattvas who have dwelled there since ancient times.

震旦國有一住處,名:那羅延窟 — in China, there is a dwelling-place called Nārāyaṇa Cave. This list moves through a real map of the Buddhist world of its time — Vaiśālī, Mathurā, Kashmir, Kashgar, Gandhāra, Kamboja — and China is named among them without any special emphasis, one entry in a list otherwise devoted to the edges of the known world as seen from India. Unlike Mount Clear and Cool in Part 578, no later tradition seems to have settled on where in China this Nārāyaṇa Cave, 那羅延窟, actually was.
