The Three Vehicles Established
The verse moves through moral discipline, the three gates of liberation, and the three vehicles all established through a single thought, before pausing on the bodhisattva's own honest position: the divine eye and recollection of past lives extinguish every delusion, and he knows the buddha's own ten powers — and yet has not yet accomplished them himself.
Knowing, Yet Not Yet Accomplished
Amid a run of confident attainments, one line names a limit still standing: knowing the buddha's own ten powers is not the same as having accomplished them. The lines that follow describe a mind that understands emptiness while still seeking the wondrous dharma, free of affliction while not yet having exhausted every outflow — attainment and its incompleteness held together without embarrassment.
能於一念中，普現三世心，
欲色無色界，一切種種事。
隨順三律儀，演說三解脫，
建立三乘道，成就一切智。
了達處非處，諸業及諸根，
界解與禪定，一切至處道。
"Within a single thought, he is able to universally manifest the mind of the three times, and every kind of affair throughout the realms of desire, form, and formlessness.
According with the three kinds of moral discipline, expounding the three gates of liberation, establishing the path of the three vehicles, he accomplishes all-knowing wisdom.
Fully understanding what is and is not the case, every karma and every faculty, every element and understanding, and meditative absorption, and every path that reaches every destination.
宿命念天眼，滅除一切惑，
知佛十種力，而未能成就。
了達諸法空，而常求妙法，
不與煩惱合，而亦不盡漏。
廣知出離道，而以度眾生，
於此得無畏，不捨修諸行。
The recollection of past lives and the divine eye extinguish every delusion; knowing the buddha's own ten powers, and yet not yet having accomplished them himself.
Fully understanding the emptiness of every dharma, and yet constantly seeking the wondrous dharma; not joined together with affliction, and yet also not having exhausted every outflow.
Broadly knowing the path of renunciation, and yet using it to deliver sentient beings; within this attaining fearlessness, never abandoning the cultivation of every practice.
知佛十種力，而未能成就 — knowing the buddha's own ten powers, and yet not yet having accomplished them himself. Set among lines celebrating what has already been mastered, this admission does not read as failure; paired with the next line's emptiness still paired with a continued search for the wondrous dharma, it describes a stage where understanding has outpaced attainment, and the practice continues precisely because of that gap.

This continues chapter thirty-eight, 離世間品, in fascicle fifty-nine. Part 819 continues the verse, moving from a mind never confused and never departing from right mindfulness to the three groups all made pure and great compassion extending without any obstruction at all.
