Light Within a Pore Outshining the Sun
The verse's images of scale continue into light and time: a single pore's own light outshines sun, moon, and every star; every kalpa of the past is placed within the future, and every kalpa of the future is turned back into the past; and every buddha of the ten directions appears clearly within a single body — closing on manifestation across all six destinies that ends, finally, in a paradox.
Manifesting, Yet Manifesting Nothing
After a sequence of vast spiritual transformations across every destiny and every buddha-land, the verse closes this run with its sharpest paradox: manifesting, and yet truly manifesting nothing at all — the display constantly turning more excellent while remaining, at the same time, without anything actually being displayed.
於一毛孔中，放無量光明；
日月星宿光，摩尼珠火光，
及以諸天光，一切皆映蔽，
滅諸惡道苦，為說無上法。
一切諸世間，種種差別音；
菩薩以一音，一切皆能演。
決定分別說，一切諸佛法，
普使諸群生，聞之大歡喜。
過去一切劫，安置未來今；
未來現在劫，迴置過去世。
示現無量剎，燒然及成住；
一切諸世間，悉在一毛孔。
未來及現在，一切十方佛，
靡不於身中，分明而顯現。
"Within a single pore, he emits measureless light; the light of sun, moon, and stars, the light of maṇi jewels and fire, and the light of every deva as well — all of it is entirely outshone; extinguishing the suffering of every evil destiny, he teaches the unsurpassed dharma.
Every kind of distinct sound throughout every world — the bodhisattva, through a single sound, is able to express every one of them.
Decisively and distinctly expounding every buddha-dharma, he universally causes the multitude of beings, upon hearing it, to feel great joy.
Every kalpa of the past, he places within the future and the present; every kalpa of the future and present, he turns back and places within the past.
He manifests measureless lands, their burning, their formation, and their abiding; every world there is, all of it, exists within a single pore.
Every buddha of the future and the present, throughout the ten directions, without exception appears clearly and distinctly within his own body.
深知變化法，善應眾生心，
示現種種身，而皆無所著。
或現於六趣，一切眾生身，
梵釋護世身，諸天人眾身，
聲聞緣覺身，諸佛如來身；
或現菩薩身，修行一切智。
善入軟中上，眾生諸想網，
示現成菩提，及以諸佛剎。
了知諸想網，於想得自在，
示修菩薩行，一切方便事。
示現如是等，廣大諸神變；
如是諸境界，舉世莫能知。
雖現無所現，究竟轉增上，
隨順眾生心，令行真實道。
Deeply knowing the dharma of transformation, skillfully according with the minds of sentient beings, he manifests every kind of body, and yet clings to none of them at all.
Sometimes he manifests the bodies of every sentient being throughout the six destinies, the body of Brahmā, of Śakra, and of the guardians of the world, the bodies of every deva and human assembly, the bodies of śrāvakas and solitary awakened ones, the bodies of every buddha-tathāgata; and sometimes he manifests a bodhisattva's own body, cultivating all-knowing wisdom.
Skillfully entering the net of conceptions of sentient beings inferior, middling, and superior, he manifests the attainment of awakening, and every buddha-land as well.
Fully understanding every net of conception, attaining sovereign freedom within conception itself, he manifests the cultivation of bodhisattva practice, and every kind of skillful means.
Manifesting vast spiritual transformations such as these — domains such as these that the entire world is unable to know.
Though manifesting, there is truly nothing manifested at all; ultimately turning ever more excellent, according with the minds of sentient beings, causing them to walk the truly real path.
雖現無所現，究竟轉增上 — though manifesting, there is truly nothing manifested at all; ultimately turning ever more excellent. Closing a sequence of the sūtra's most extravagant displays — every body across six destinies, every buddha appearing within one — with the flat claim that none of it is truly manifested keeps the entire chapter's teaching on emptiness intact even at its most visually extreme moment.

This continues chapter thirty-eight, 離世間品, in fascicle fifty-nine. Part 827 completes Samantabhadra's closing verse and, with it, both this immense chapter and fascicle fifty-nine — closing on the bodhisattva as a wheel-turning king built from the pāramitās and the four means of attraction, and a final charge to arouse the diamond mind and study this very practice.
