The First Verses Begin
The entire tenfold procession that opened this fascicle now returns, in the same order, to speak. Vairocana Vow-Light Bodhisattva, the very first to arrive from the east, rises first, surveying the ten directions before speaking ten stanzas on a power that no pratyekabuddha and no śrāvaka can ever know.
The Ten Arrivals Return to Speak
Each of the ten bodhisattvas who arrived earlier in this fascicle will now speak in the very same order — east, south, west, north, and the intermediate and vertical directions after them — surveying the ten directions before each set of verses begins, exactly as each first arrived surveying the very same directions on the way in.
爾時，毘盧遮那願光明菩薩，承佛神力，觀察十方而說頌言：
汝等應觀察，
佛道不思議，
於此逝多林，
示現神通力。
善逝威神力，
所現無央數；
一切諸世間，
迷惑不能了。
法王深妙法，
無量難思議，
所現諸神通，
舉世莫能測。
以了法無相，
是故名為佛，
而具相莊嚴，
稱揚不可盡。
今於此林內，
示現大神力，
甚深無有邊，
言辭莫能辯。
汝觀大威德，
無量菩薩眾，
十方諸國土，
而來見世尊。
所願皆具足，
所行無障礙；
一切諸世間，
無能測量者。
一切諸緣覺，
及彼大聲聞，
皆悉不能知，
菩薩行境界。
菩薩大智慧，
諸地悉究竟，
高建勇猛幢，
難摧難可動。
諸大名稱士，
無量三昧力，
所現諸神變，
法界悉充滿。
At that time, Vairocana Vow-Light Bodhisattva, sustained by the Buddha's own spiritual power, surveyed the ten directions and spoke these verses:
You should all observe: the buddha's own path is inconceivable, and here in this Jeta Grove, its spiritual power has been shown.
The Well-Gone One's own awesome, spiritual power has manifested itself in numbers beyond all counting, yet every world, caught in delusion, is unable to comprehend it.
The Dharma King's own profound, wondrous dharma is measureless and inconceivable; the spiritual superknowledges he has manifested, the entire world is unable to fathom.
Because he has fully understood that every dharma is without any mark, he is therefore called a buddha, and yet, adorned with every mark in full, he is praised without end.
Now, within this very grove, he has shown forth great spiritual power, profound and without any limit, which no words are able to describe.
Behold this assembly of measureless bodhisattvas, awesome in virtue, who have come from every land in the ten directions to see the World-Honored One.
Every one of their vows is fully accomplished, and their every practice is without obstruction; there is no one throughout any world able to measure them.
Every pratyekabuddha, and every one of the great śrāvakas as well, is entirely unable to know the domain of the bodhisattvas' own practice.
The bodhisattvas' own great wisdom has brought every ground to its ultimate completion; they have raised on high a banner of valiant courage, difficult to topple, difficult to shake.
These great, renowned ones, through the power of measureless samādhis, have manifested spiritual transformations that fill the entire dharma-realm completely.
觀察十方而說頌言 — surveyed the ten directions and spoke these verses. The very first bodhisattva to arrive at the start of this fascicle is the very first to speak now, and his verses restate, in condensed poetic form, precisely what the preceding prose section just spent so many pages proving: that pratyekabuddhas and śrāvakas alike cannot know the domain being described.

This continues chapter thirty-nine, 入法界品, in fascicle sixty. Part 858 turns to the second bodhisattva, Indestructible Diligence King, arriving from the south, who speaks the next set of verses in this same sequence.
