The Named Samādhis Begin
Rather than leave the samādhis these bodhisattvas enter unnamed, the sūtra now lists them one by one — one hundred and one in total. This first group of twenty-five opens with a samādhi adorning the entire dharma-realm and closes with one able to give birth to the mother of every tathāgata.
A Samādhi That Gives Birth to a Mother
Among these first twenty-five names, one stands out for its striking image: a samādhi able to give birth to the mother of every tathāgata — a reversal of the ordinary order of birth, naming the very source from which every buddha's own awakening is said to arise.
云何種種三昧？所謂：普莊嚴法界三昧、普照一切三世無礙境界三昧、法界無差別智光明三昧、入如來境界不動轉三昧、普照無邊虛空三昧、入如來力三昧、佛無畏勇猛奮迅莊嚴三昧、一切法界旋轉藏三昧、如月普現一切法界以無礙音大開演三昧、普清淨法光明三昧、無礙繒法王幢三昧、一一境界中悉見一切諸佛海三昧、於一切世間悉現身三昧、入如來無差別身境界三昧、隨一切世間轉大悲藏三昧、知一切法無有迹三昧、知一切法究竟寂滅三昧、雖無所得而能變化普現世間三昧、普入一切剎三昧、莊嚴一切佛剎成正覺三昧、觀一切世間主色相差別三昧、觀一切眾生境界無障礙三昧、能出生一切如來母三昧、能修行入一切佛海功德道三昧、一一境界中出現神變盡未來際三昧、……

能出生一切如來母三昧 — the Samādhi Able to Give Birth to the Mother of Every Tathāgata. Buddhist tradition elsewhere names all-knowing wisdom itself, prajñāpāramitā, as "the mother of every buddha," from which every awakening is born; this samādhi's name places that motherhood one step further back, as something a samādhi itself can give rise to.
