The Named Samādhis Continue
This second group of twenty-five samādhi names ranges from purifying every present buddha-land through decisive understanding to causing every world to become a single buddha-land, and includes a samādhi for knowing that every tathāgata, however many there are, shares a single body.
Every Tathāgata, One Single Body
Among this group, one samādhi makes a claim as bold as any elsewhere in this sūtra: knowing that every tathāgata, across every world and every age, shares a single body — not a resemblance between separate buddhas, but one body underlying all of them.

知一切如來同一身三昧 — the Samādhi of Knowing That Every Tathāgata Shares a Single Body. Placed between a samādhi of vajra-wisdom and one about the dharma-realm abiding within a single thought, this name makes one of the sūtra's boldest claims almost in passing: that the countless buddhas named and described throughout this entire fascicle are not many bodies resembling one another, but a single body known in full.
