Fourteen Inconceivable Clouds, and Trembling Worlds
Sea-Banner's own ribs give rise to nāgas raining down fourteen distinct kinds of offering cloud in a row, while the svastika mark upon his own chest gives rise to asura kings whose illusory power shakes a hundred worlds and boils the very oceans — violence turned, in the end, entirely toward awakening rather than harm.
Fourteen Clouds, Each Called Inconceivable
From incense to attendant maidens, fourteen distinct clouds pour from Sea-Banner's own ribs in a row, and the text refuses to let a single one pass without its own qualifier — inconceivable, repeated fourteen times, as though ordinary description could not be trusted to convey any of them alone.
從其兩脇，出不思議龍、不思議龍女，示現不思議諸龍神變，所謂：雨不思議香雲、不思議華雲、不思議鬘雲、不思議寶蓋雲、不思議寶幡雲、不思議妙寶莊嚴具雲、不思議大摩尼寶雲、不思議寶瓔珞雲、不思議寶座雲、不思議寶宮殿雲、不思議寶蓮華雲、不思議寶冠雲、不思議天身雲、不思議采女雲，悉遍虛空而為莊嚴，充滿一切十方世界，諸佛道場而為供養，令諸眾生皆生歡喜。
From his two ribs, there emerged inconceivable nāgas and inconceivable nāga-maidens, manifesting the inconceivable spiritual transformations of every nāga, namely: raining down an inconceivable cloud of incense, an inconceivable cloud of flowers, an inconceivable cloud of garlands, an inconceivable cloud of jeweled canopies, an inconceivable cloud of jeweled banners, an inconceivable cloud of wondrous jeweled adornments, an inconceivable cloud of great maṇi jewels, an inconceivable cloud of jeweled necklaces, an inconceivable cloud of jeweled thrones, an inconceivable cloud of jeweled palaces, an inconceivable cloud of jeweled lotus-flowers, an inconceivable cloud of jeweled crowns, an inconceivable cloud of heavenly bodies, and an inconceivable cloud of attendant maidens, all of them spreading throughout the whole of empty space as their own adornment, filling every world throughout the ten directions entirely, making offerings at the site of awakening of every buddha, and causing every sentient being to give rise to joy.
不思議天身雲、不思議采女雲 — an inconceivable cloud of heavenly bodies, and an inconceivable cloud of attendant maidens. The list moves gradually from ordinary offerings (incense, flowers) toward stranger and stranger things to imagine as a cloud — a cloud made of jeweled palaces, and at last, clouds made of bodies and of attendants themselves.
Violence Turned Entirely to Awakening
From the svastika mark on Sea-Banner's own chest, asura kings emerge with a power that shakes worlds, boils oceans, and crushes māra's armies outright — and every bit of that violence is redirected, in the same breath, toward causing sentient beings to abandon pride and enter the bodhisattva's own path.
從胸前卐字中，出無數百千億阿脩羅王，皆悉示現不可思議自在幻力，令百世界皆大震動，一切海水自然涌沸，一切山王互相衝擊，諸天宮殿無不動搖，諸魔光明無不隱蔽，諸魔兵眾無不摧伏；普令眾生，捨憍慢心，除怒害心，破煩惱山，息眾惡法，長無鬪諍，永共和善；復以幻力，開悟眾生，令滅罪惡，令怖生死，令出諸趣，令離染著，令住無上菩提之心，令修一切諸菩薩行，令住一切諸波羅蜜，令入一切諸菩薩地，令觀一切微妙法門，令知一切諸佛方便。如是所作，周遍法界。
From within the svastika mark upon his own chest, there emerged countless hundreds of thousands of millions of asura kings, every one of them manifesting an inconceivable, self-mastered power of illusion, causing a hundred worlds to shake greatly, every ocean's own water to well up and boil of itself, every king of mountains to collide with one another, every heavenly palace to tremble without exception, every māra's own light to be hidden without exception, and every army of every māra to be crushed and subdued without exception; universally causing sentient beings to abandon a mind of pride and arrogance, to remove a mind of anger and malice, to break the mountain of affliction, to extinguish every evil dharma, to grow forever free of quarrel and strife, and to abide together forever in harmony and goodness; and further, through the power of illusion, awakening sentient beings, causing them to extinguish crime and evil, causing them to fear birth and death, causing them to emerge from every destiny, causing them to depart from defiled attachment, causing them to abide in the mind of unsurpassed enlightenment, causing them to cultivate every one of the bodhisattva's own practices, causing them to abide in every pāramitā, causing them to enter every bodhisattva ground, causing them to observe every subtle and wondrous dharma-gate, and causing them to know every buddha's own skillful means. All such deeds as these pervade the entire dharma-realm.
皆悉示現不可思議自在幻力 — every one of them manifesting an inconceivable, self-mastered power of illusion. The asuras' violence — shaking worlds, boiling oceans, crushing māra's own armies — is named twice over as illusory power: real enough to move mountains, and yet illusion all the same, its entire purpose bent toward waking beings up rather than harming them.

This continues chapter thirty-nine, 入法界品, in fascicle sixty-three. Part 932 turns to what emerges next from Sea-Banner's own back and shoulders — śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas teaching according to each listener's own affliction, and yakṣas and rākṣasas standing guard over every sentient being who walks the good path.
