From His Crown, a Dharma-Rain for Every Stage
The tathāgata bodies from Sea-Banner's own crown do not rain down one dharma for all; they name each recipient precisely — twelve stages of the bodhisattva path, ten classes of heavenly and semi-divine being, and, at the very end of the list, the hells, the animals, and the realm of King Yama — and give each one its own distinct rain.
Thirty-One Recipients, Thirty-One Rains
From bodhisattvas seated at the very site of awakening down to sentient beings in the hells, every single recipient of this rain is named individually, and not one of the thirty-one dharma-rains repeats another's own name.
從其頂上，出無數百千億如來身，其身無等，諸相隨好，清淨莊嚴，威光赫奕如真金山，無量光明普照十方，出妙音聲充滿法界，示現無量大神通力，為一切世間普雨法雨。所謂：為坐菩提道場諸菩薩，雨普知平等法雨；為灌頂位諸菩薩，雨入普門法雨；為法王子位諸菩薩，雨普莊嚴法雨；為童子位諸菩薩，雨堅固山法雨；為不退位諸菩薩，雨海藏法雨；為成就正心位諸菩薩，雨普境界法雨；為方便具足位諸菩薩，雨自性門法雨；為生貴位諸菩薩，雨隨順世間法雨；為修行位諸菩薩，雨普悲愍法雨；為新學諸菩薩，雨積集藏法雨；為初發心諸菩薩，雨攝眾生法雨；為信解諸菩薩，雨無盡境界普現前法雨；為色界諸眾生，雨普門法雨；為諸梵天，雨普藏法雨；為諸自在天，雨生力法雨；為諸魔眾，雨心幢法雨；為諸化樂天，雨淨念法雨；為諸兜率天，雨生意法雨；為諸夜摩天，雨歡喜法雨；為諸忉利天，雨疾莊嚴虛空界法雨；為諸夜叉王，雨歡喜法雨；為諸乾闥婆王，雨金剛輪法雨；為諸阿脩羅王，雨大境界法雨；為諸迦樓羅王，雨無邊光明法雨；為諸緊那羅王，雨一切世間殊勝智法雨；為諸人王，雨無樂著法雨；為諸龍王，雨歡喜幢法雨；為諸摩睺羅伽王，雨大休息法雨；為諸地獄眾生，雨正念莊嚴法雨；為諸畜生，雨智慧藏法雨；為閻羅王界眾生，雨無畏法雨；為諸厄難處眾生，雨普安慰法雨。悉令得入賢聖眾會。如是所作，充滿法界。
From his own crown, there emerged countless hundreds of thousands of millions of tathāgata bodies, their bodies without equal, complete in every excellent mark and every minor mark, purely adorned, their majestic light blazing like a mountain of true gold, their measureless light universally illuminating the ten directions, their wondrous voice filling the entire dharma-realm, manifesting measureless great spiritual power, and universally raining down a rain of dharma for every world. Namely: for bodhisattvas seated at the site of awakening, they rained a rain of the dharma of universal knowing and equality; for bodhisattvas at the stage of consecration, they rained a rain of the dharma of entering the universal gate; for bodhisattvas at the stage of dharma-prince, they rained a rain of the dharma of universal adornment; for bodhisattvas at the stage of the youth, they rained a rain of the dharma of the firm mountain; for bodhisattvas at the stage of non-regression, they rained a rain of the dharma of the ocean-treasury; for bodhisattvas who had accomplished the stage of right mind, they rained a rain of the dharma of the universal domain; for bodhisattvas complete in the stage of skillful means, they rained a rain of the dharma of the gate of intrinsic nature; for bodhisattvas at the stage of noble birth, they rained a rain of the dharma of according with the world; for bodhisattvas at the stage of cultivation, they rained a rain of the dharma of universal compassion; for newly-learning bodhisattvas, they rained a rain of the dharma of the treasury of accumulation; for bodhisattvas who had just given rise to the initial resolve, they rained a rain of the dharma of gathering in sentient beings; for bodhisattvas of faith and understanding, they rained a rain of the dharma of the inexhaustible domain universally manifest before them; for sentient beings of the form realm, they rained a rain of the dharma of the universal gate; for the Brahmā-heavens, they rained a rain of the dharma of the universal treasury; for the heavens of self-mastery, they rained a rain of the dharma of giving rise to power; for the hosts of māra, they rained a rain of the dharma of the banner of mind; for the heaven of delighting in transformation, they rained a rain of the dharma of pure mindfulness; for the Tuṣita heaven, they rained a rain of the dharma of giving rise to intention; for the Yāma heaven, they rained a rain of the dharma of joy; for the Trāyastriṃśa heaven, they rained a rain of the dharma of swiftly adorning the realm of empty space; for the yakṣa kings, they rained a rain of the dharma of joy; for the gandharva kings, they rained a rain of the dharma of the vajra wheel; for the asura kings, they rained a rain of the dharma of the great domain; for the garuḍa kings, they rained a rain of the dharma of boundless light; for the kiṃnara kings, they rained a rain of the dharma of the supremely excellent wisdom of every world; for the human kings, they rained a rain of the dharma of no delight or attachment; for the nāga kings, they rained a rain of the dharma of the banner of joy; for the mahoraga kings, they rained a rain of the dharma of great rest; for sentient beings in the hells, they rained a rain of the dharma of the adornment of right mindfulness; for animals, they rained a rain of the dharma of the treasury of wisdom; for sentient beings in the realm of King Yama, they rained a rain of the dharma of fearlessness; and for sentient beings in every place of hardship and misfortune, they rained a rain of the dharma of universal comfort. Causing every one of them to be able to enter the assembly of sages and worthies. All such deeds as these fill the entire dharma-realm.
為諸地獄眾生……為諸畜生……為閻羅王界眾生……為諸厄難處眾生 — for sentient beings in the hells … for animals … for sentient beings in the realm of King Yama … for sentient beings in every place of hardship and misfortune. The list closes on its four lowest destinies deliberately, and every one of them still receives a dharma-rain of its own — mindfulness, wisdom, fearlessness, comfort — matched exactly to what that particular suffering calls for, and the whole list ends with the same promise given to everyone else: entry into the assembly of sages and worthies.

This continues chapter thirty-nine, 入法界品, in fascicle sixty-three. Part 939 turns to Sea-Banner's own final emanation — light-networks pouring from every single pore of his body — and to Good-Wealth's own extraordinary act of watching this samādhi without moving for six months and six days.
