Canopies, Nets, and Lights of the Hall
Within the grove, a hundred million canopies of garment and garland and gold hang throughout, a hundred million nets of pearl and beryl cover everything from above, and a hundred million lights blaze in flame and moon and lotus, each list closing the same way — "such as these, numbering a hundred million."
A Hundred Million Canopies
The grove's own hundred million canopies range from garment and garland to gold and music, and close with a canopy that names its own wearer directly — the very one Śakra himself puts on.
園中復有百萬種帳，所謂：衣帳、鬘帳、香帳、華帳、枝帳、摩尼帳、真金帳、莊嚴具帳、音樂帳、象王神變帳、馬王神變帳、帝釋所著摩尼寶帳……如是等，其數百萬。
Within the grove there were further a hundred million kinds of canopies, namely: garment canopies, garland canopies, incense canopies, flower canopies, branch canopies, maṇi-jewel canopies, true-gold canopies, adornment canopies, music canopies, elephant-king transformation canopies, horse-king transformation canopies, and the maṇi-jeweled canopy worn by Śakra himself — such as these, numbering a hundred million.
A Hundred Million Nets, A Hundred Million Lights
Above the canopies, a hundred million nets of bell and pearl and beryl cover the hall entirely, and beyond the nets, a hundred million lights of flame and sun and lotus-treasury illuminate everything at once.
有百萬大寶網彌覆其上，所謂：寶鈴網、寶蓋網、寶身網、海藏真珠網、紺瑠璃摩尼寶網、師子摩尼網、月光摩尼網、種種形像眾香網、寶冠網、寶瓔珞網……如是等，其數百萬。有百萬大光明之所照耀，所謂：焰光摩尼寶光明、日藏摩尼寶光明、月幢摩尼寶光明、香焰摩尼寶光明、勝藏摩尼寶光明、蓮華藏摩尼寶光明、焰幢摩尼寶光明、大燈摩尼寶光明、普照十方摩尼寶光明、香光摩尼寶光明……如是等，其數百萬。
There were a hundred million great jeweled nets covering everything from above, namely: jeweled-bell nets, jeweled-canopy nets, jeweled-body nets, ocean-treasury pearl nets, deep-blue beryl maṇi-jewel nets, lion maṇi-jewel nets, moonlight maṇi-jewel nets, nets of every kind of form woven from every kind of fragrance, jeweled-crown nets, and jeweled-necklace nets — such as these, numbering a hundred million. There were a hundred million great lights shining out, namely: flame-light maṇi-jeweled light, sun-treasury maṇi-jeweled light, moon-banner maṇi-jeweled light, fragrant-flame maṇi-jeweled light, supreme-treasury maṇi-jeweled light, lotus-treasury maṇi-jeweled light, flame-banner maṇi-jeweled light, great-lamp maṇi-jeweled light, the maṇi-jeweled light universally illuminating the ten directions, and fragrant maṇi-jeweled light — such as these, numbering a hundred million.
如是等，其數百萬 — such as these, numbering a hundred million. This closing formula repeats after every list in this hall — thrones, canopies, nets, lights — each time cutting off an enumeration that could otherwise continue indefinitely, as though naming ten or twelve examples were only ever a sample of a number too large to actually list.

This continues chapter thirty-nine, 入法界品, in fascicle sixty-four. Part 947 turns to a further hundred million offerings raining down of their own accord, before Rest-and-Release herself is finally seen, seated on her own throne of true gold.
