Inside the Hall of the Vairocana Treasury
Crystal ground, beryl pillars, vajra walls, golden bells sounding of their own accord — Good-Wealth walks into a hall built from every treasure at once, and finds at its center a maiden whose own body is as adorned as the room around her, golden-skinned, indigo-eyed, teaching in a voice like Brahmā's own.
Crystal, Beryl, Vajra, and Golden Bells
Every surface of this hall is named by its own substance — the ground crystal, the pillars beryl, the walls vajra, the enclosure Jambū-river gold — before mirrors, nets, and a hundred thousand bells complete an interior built entirely without repeating a single material twice.
善財入已，見毘盧遮那藏殿，玻瓈為地，瑠璃為柱，金剛為壁，閻浮檀金以為垣牆，百千光明而為窓牖，阿僧祇摩尼寶而莊校之，寶藏摩尼鏡周匝莊嚴，以世間最上摩尼寶而為莊飾，無數寶網羅覆其上，百千金鈴出妙音聲，有如是等不可思議眾寶嚴飾。其慈行童女，皮膚金色，眼紺紫色，髮紺青色，以梵音聲而演說法。善財見已，頂禮其足，遶無數匝，合掌前住，作如是言：「聖者！我已先發阿耨多羅三藐三菩提心，而未知菩薩云何學菩薩行？云何修菩薩道？我聞聖者善能誘誨，願為我說！」
Having entered, Good-Wealth saw the Hall of the Vairocana Treasury, crystal forming its ground, beryl forming its pillars, vajra forming its walls, Jambū-river gold forming its enclosing walls, a hundred thousand lights forming its windows, asaṃkhyeya maṇi jewels adorning it, treasury-maṇi mirrors adorning it all around, the world's most supreme maṇi jewels serving as its ornament, countless jeweled nets spread and covering it above, and a hundred thousand golden bells giving forth wondrous sound, adorned with inconceivable treasures such as these. This maiden Loving-Conduct, her skin the color of gold, her eyes a deep indigo-purple, her hair a deep indigo-blue, taught the dharma in a voice like Brahmā's own. Having seen her, Good-Wealth bowed his head at her feet, circumambulated her countless times, stood before her with palms joined, and spoke these words: "Noble one! I have already given rise to the mind of anuttara-samyak-sambodhi, but I do not yet know how a bodhisattva learns the bodhisattva practices, or how a bodhisattva cultivates the bodhisattva path. I have heard that the noble one is skilled in guiding and instructing others — I wish that you would explain it to me!"
皮膚金色，眼紺紫色，髮紺青色 — her skin the color of gold, her eyes a deep indigo-purple, her hair a deep indigo-blue. No teacher so far has had their own body described in this much color-specific detail — the maiden's own appearance is treated with the same care as the hall's architecture, as though she were simply its final, most important ornament.

This continues chapter thirty-nine, 入法界品, in fascicle sixty-five. Part 980 turns to Loving-Conduct's own answer to Good-Wealth's question — an instruction to look not at her, but at the hall's own adornment itself.
