Buddhas Newly Awakened, Arising in the World
From every single pore, in every single thought-moment, there came forth clouds of bodhisattva bodies equal in number to the motes of dust of every world, praising every buddha, nurturing the roots of goodness of every sentient being; from every single pore, in every single thought-moment, there came forth clouds of newly-arisen-bodhicitta bodhisattva bodies equal in number to the motes of dust of every world, manifesting the first raising of the mind of bodhi within every land; from every single pore, in every single thought-moment, there came forth clouds of bodhisattva bodies equal in number to the motes of dust of every world, praising, within every single land, the ocean of merit and vow of every buddha, and the wondrous practice that Samantabhadra himself carries out; from every single pore, in every single thought-moment, there came forth emanations of Samantabhadra's own practice equal in number to the motes of dust of every world, raining the ambrosial Dharma, causing every sentient being to cultivate all-wisdom; and from every single pore, in every single thought-moment, there came forth buddhas equal in number to the motes of dust of every world, newly attaining correct awakening, arising in the world.
Every Stage of the Path, and Buddhahood Itself, in a Single Pore
一一毛孔念念中，出一切世界微塵等菩薩身雲，讚歎諸佛，長養一切眾生善根；一一毛孔念念中，出一切世界微塵等初發心菩薩身雲，於一切剎，示現初發菩提之心；一一毛孔念念中，出一切世界微塵等菩薩身雲，於一一剎，讚一切佛功德願海，普賢菩薩所行妙行；一一毛孔念念中，出一切世界微塵等普賢所行，雨甘露法，令一切眾生修薩婆若；一一毛孔念念中，出一切世界微塵等佛，初成正覺，出興于世。

This closing sequence traces a complete arc within a single breath — from a bodhisattva's very first raising of bodhicitta, through praising the buddhas and Samantabhadra's own practice, to Samantabhadra's own emanations directly raining the Dharma, and finally to buddhas newly attaining awakening — the entire bodhisattva path from beginning to consummation replayed continuously, in every thought-moment, from every single pore. Fazang reads this progression as this whole pore-emanation passage's own structural climax: having shown light, offerings, protective devas, refuge, and purification in the parts preceding, the vision now closes specifically on the arc of the path itself, appropriately given that Samantabhadra's own practice — the very thing Sudhana has traveled his entire pilgrimage to learn — is what a bodhisattva at every one of these stages is ultimately moving toward.
Part 422 Complete — The Pore-Emanation Vision Concludes
Samantabhadra's vast pore-emanation vision is now complete in full. Part 423 turns to Sudhana's own reaction — leaping with boundless joy — and to his renewed gaze upon Samantabhadra's body, where he beholds an entire trichiliocosm contained within every single limb and joint.
